HELENA CHWISTEK

Helena Chwistek (1910 - 2002) was born in Milkowa, a village near Nowy Sacz. Her education went as far as primary school. She painted houses (inside and out) since she was a child. She started painting paintings in 1985. She was married, had three children and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Chwistek's paintings are housed in both private collections and in museums. She painted mostly landscapes and people, but she occasionally depicted religious themes.   *click image for larger view
