Mark Cody Mark Cody is a santero- a maker of Santos (saints, or holy images). He is a sculptor of traditional and contemporary fine art at his studio in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains near Denver. For generations, artists have been carving these classic images to adorn their churches and homes. Using the same hand tools and techniques, Mark creates Santos from aspen and lodgepole pine trees like his predecessors. The freestanding figures come in a variety of sizes. Every one comes with its unique animated characteristics and is signed by the artist.
