LYNNE LOSHBAUGH

Lynne Loshbaugh was born in San Francisco, raised in the Bay Area, and educated at Pomona College. She is married to a southern Californian and began painting after their three children were in school. She is a self-taught artist who works in her kitchen and describes her oils as primitive or native art.

Lynne lived in St. Louis, Missouri and exhibited her works in the area. Now she lives and works in Santa Fe,New Mexico.

Of her own style she writes: “My greatest joy derives from an insatiable appetite for color. I love telling pictures stories of places not quite real and of things that never happen. If seeing my work, you can enjoy the fun of leaving reality behind for a moment, I will feel my efforts were successful.”
